“Get Hitched, Give Hope” is a local Seattle-based nonprofit that raises money to grant wishes for breast cancer patients through auctions and other activities. Their main event is coming up on October 28, at the Four Seasons, where Seattle’s top wedding professionals will be exhibiting their services and products, with silent auctions, raffles and a grand live auction.
1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer and, believe it or not, 1 in 100 men will too. In the United States alone, the numbers are shocking, with over 40,000 Americans who will lose their lives to breast cancer this year.
“Get Hitched, Give Hope” is trying to raise $50,000 to grant wishes for stage IV breast cancer patients and their families. This year they are partnering with The Making Memories Foundation, which will receive 100% of the fundraiser proceeds and determine which families will be awarded this special gift.
We are excited to announce that The Fine Art Photography Studio will also begin fundraising and join in on the cause.
